wafer paper flower
I really wanted to fall in love with this medium since everyone says it is so easy but I really prefer gumpaste. For some reason, it is no easy for me. I think it is because I want to make them realistic. Well anyway here is my latest experiment.

I actually did those with a green edible marker which was a different green than what I was using for the leaf. Just playing around with different ideas to see what I could come up with.

A crazy cool way to do the center, and I love it! It really does look like the sunflower center!! Way to go girl! How did you get the striations in the leaf?

@ June, I tried to think about what I had at home that I could use. Then I saw the chia seeds and figured I would try it.

It's not gumpaste...but I like the look...it's intriguing and interesting...

The center is a styrofoam ball. The brown is actually chia seeds. I just figured I would try different things.

This would really be lovely on a white cake! How is the center made?
