awesome I gave many of mine to my granddaughter ! but still have some ! I cant wait to see more of your cakes
If I use my pastels, I don't just have "some" colors, I have just about every color! My favorite set alone, has several hundred sticks. Boy, I don't have any excuses now, do I?!
AWESOME SO NOW YOU HAVE SOME COLORS !
Oh, good. I use only soft pastels because everything I ever tried to do with oil pastels looked like I used crayons...never got the hang of them.
most of them are not toxic , , the oil pastels are !
I have read that you can use pastels. I have a ton of them already, but don't know if they are toxic. Probably not or I would be long gone :o) I've done a lot of pastel portraits.
MOST FLOWERS !! ARE NOT EATEN , YOU CAN GET NON TOXIC pastels , grind them ! , !
Thank you, everyone. That was the night I fell in love with fondant. I LOVE the way it feels when you knead it - even better than yeast bread dough. Took me a little longer to fall in love with gum paste.
It is painted with Wilton gel colors, thinned with alcohol. I didn't have any petal dust....still don't have very much. I am still new and still accumulating tools :o) Notice the bright blue stamens. It was the only dark color I had and never even thought about using coco, which would have been a lot better.
Great job !!!
