Game of Thrones Top
'Quickish' themed birthday cake for my eldest grandson. One of his favourite books/TV programmes is Game of Thrones (mine too!). The top is the sigil (a grey direwolf) and motto of the Stark family, who are Kings of the North and live at Winterfell, just south of 'The Wall', guarded by the Nights Watch. The board is adorned with the mottos of other main families in the series and well known sayings from the story.
Bottom tier Devils Food with chocolate buttercream, covered in chocolate fondant, top tier red velvet and cream cheese frosting, covered in white chocolate fondant.

Think it's one of those shows you must watch from the beginning to know the characters & plot.
We do have it here on Bravo Canada. By the time I discovered it, 2 or more seasons had passed. Not really my cup if tea. :o)
