Lucky you Mandy - I have one normal gas oven and one small oven/grill. I can really only cook 1 cake or 1 batch of 12 cuppies at a time. But then I don't churn the cakes out like you do !
I have the greatest of admiration for you Betty. Cakers never grow old, they just get quicker lol!
look so pretty & yummy
Yes, Mixing the icing took longer than cooking. Swirling on the icing didn't take long at all. I lined them up on my trays and went at it. Did a doz at a time then put on flowers. Of course I had flowers made ahead of time. I have another wedding in NOV. same thing + a bigger wedding cake to go with them.
you can but they are sooooo expensive Katy, I have looked into it. I have a double oven one side is conventional the other fan. I can only cook 12 in the conventional but 24 in my fan !
hard work thou Betty, takes a few batches of buttercream to cover this amount, well done they look very yummy x
ooo - 2 doz at a time? What a useful bit of kit, didn't know you could get them!
Thanks Gail & Katy. I have a regular oven but it's pretty large. I bake in batches but I have a muffin tin that wholes 2 doz. at a times. It didn't take as long as you might think.
pretty , wow ! amazing you get all that done !
100? yikes Betty, there's no stopping you girl. Do you have a very large oven or do you have to bake in batches? They look lovely
