Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

A cake I made for my next door neighbours son. He was 16 at the time. He is now 23 yrs. Didn't know about gumpaste, or even tylose pwdr then. So everything was pure fondant. Side bars are kit kats & licorice painted with silver lustre dust. Drumsticks are fondant. I do remember they took a long time to dry.

Thanks Goreti

Being as I did this 6 or so years ago, thought to myself,  considering my skill level atvthe time, not too shabby.  :o)

I was SOoooo nervous when I did this cake Katy. I mean, not being a pro, wasn't sure what my neighbor Eleanor, b-day boys Mom, expected.  Well both Mom & Joey were thrilled.......  so of course,  I was happy & relieved.  :o)
