Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Yellow cake mix with food coloring. Baked right in the glass. The trick is lower oven temp. 175 degrees for aprox. 1 1/2 hour.

Before I did the icing, I dipped the rim in vanilla extract then in candy sprinkles.

Yes, just white can icing, i melted it a few seconds in the microwave so I could pour it on top of the cake.

I just sat the glasses on a cookie sheet in the oven. No foil no water.

how did you have them in the oven? were the stems wrapped with foil like when you bake in an ice cream cone? or were they standing in a dish with a little bit of water?

Nope, none of them broke. Just keep oven temp at 175 degrees. They are fun to make.
