Thanks! I use a styro ball or 1/2 ball and toothpicks. I arrange the undecorated cupcakes on the ball first, then remove them in order so that I can place the back in the same spot once they are frosted. I love making these, they are so simple and so much fun.

I would love to give you any tips you need/want, how detailed do you want me to be? To me the layout is the biggest part, after that, it's a breeze. I'm getting ready to make another in a couple of weeks for my Mother-In-Law. Let me know the level of detail and I will be happy to help you they are really a lot of fun.
