Just practing my roses and colours. This is not how I envisioned my rose would look like when I started. My leaves are dreadful. This is a area where I need much practice. I only have one rose leaf cutter, and it does not look like the "real thing". Plus the colour wasn't dark enough with the right hue to it. Oh well..... practice makes perfect... right?? :o)

Thanks Mai  Yes ....  practice makes perfect.... right??  I should have coloured the leaves different shades of green, they don't look "natural". As for the coral, I copied the colour of a actual rose I purchased for inspiration.    :o)

I love the result June! Perhaps just the colours are not so real, but it looks perfectly fine to me.

And I loved the spoon idea too!!!! Love you ladies... you're so helpful really!

Thanks Sandra, Anne & Gail...... your all so kind.  What a good idea Sandra, drying on a spoon. Would have never thought of that. Don't laugh, but large soup spoon or coffee spoon???

I love the leaves, what are you talking about? They need to be painted with petal dust, that's all. June, use spoons to let the rose petals dry and take some beautiful shape, and make the petals as thin as possible, you will note the difference...but like you always say,,,practice makes perfection...
