I was bought a cookie press cutter for my birthday recently and decided it was time to try it out. Tricky little rascal to get the hang of, but I can see it could be fun - provided you've got a hand like a gorilla's to keep squeezing the trigger....

You don't roll it out for this machine. You put it in the tube in a rol, put the cutter end flat on the baking tray, then squeeze the pump and pull away. It squidges the dough out onto the tray and leaves the impression of the pattern. Is that what you meant Mandy? You can't have the mix too firm or it doesn't come out properly.
Sounds like the same thing Mandy. Mine has the piping option too and came with a few nozzles. I haven't tried it for that yet, as I can't see how it can pipe smoothly - the pump type thing is on a sort of ratchet.....this is it. I couldn't for the the life of me see how it would make biscuits, but it does!
do you know what Katy think I have one of these bought it years ago mine does piping too and only used that side of it never could understand how it made cookies lol these are excellent look just like bought ones
Thanks Maria!
pretty biscuits! I never made one yet....
lol Goreti - my fingers were screaming at me after I'd finished though (and that was my good hand....)
Think of it as good exercise. lol They look really nice. Looks like you got the hang of it just fine.
