I was bought a cookie press cutter for my birthday recently and decided it was time to try it out. Tricky little rascal to get the hang of, but I can see it could be fun - provided you've got a hand like a gorilla's to keep squeezing the trigger....

hum , I have some of my moms disc's but I never seen that , I also have a new gun , I don't see them ! ? I love the daisy one , ; )
That very last row, center cookie, would be my favorite. For some reason, I always like them golden brown and crispy. George likes them ultra soft and very light colored. So, I'm claiming that last row center cookie as MINE!
I don 't either, Gail, but my press is so darn old...it is my Mom's old one and copper colored.
I'm with Mick....I could eat these every day! (slurp)
yummy , we all like the same things , I don't recall the daisy or the one nx to it on the right !
Ah - good idea Linda, might try that next time.
I missed these! Yummmmmm!! I love these kind of cookies! Katy, my cookie press has a screw type handle on it that you turn to the right to press them out. Recently, just for the heck of it, I just filled a big pastry bag with the dough and used that big tip for rosettes on a cake or tops of cupcakes and squeezed them out onto a cookie sheet and made them that way. You don't get all the shapes that are shown here, but it seemed I had more control with the bag.
lol Gail - yep Mick likes them too. Made another huge batch since these and covered some of them in toffee, then wrapped in chocolate fondant.
my mom was a pro with that gun , lol , with 7 children! she made us all box's of cookies for our family's for the holidays ,
how did I miss them , oh boy yum yum , I love these cookies
