Enchanted Forest Cake
I made this cake for a friend's daughter's Sweet 16 birthday. The base cake is chocolate and the tree stump is white cake. Both are iced with an awesome white chocolate buttercream and covered with fondant. Everything is edible except the fairy. The tree stump is hand-painted and I sponged the base cake with royal icing to give it a mossy forest floor effect. I am really proud of this one, and the birthday girl loved it! :)
