Beach Anniversary Cake
I made this cake for my parent's 35th wedding anniversary. It is a white shortening cake with a chocolate mousse filling. I used a mold for the starfish, and hand crafted the sand dollars, fence and coral out of gumpaste. I airbrushed the sky and hand painted the sea grass and birds. The shells are chocolate that I purchased pre-molded, and the sand is brown sugar. I really enjoyed making this one, and my parents loved it :)
