I don't really like making cars, I'm never totally happy with the end shape. But this VW was easy to replicate.

Hi Ann, I used a piece of styrofoam to "lift" the cake from the board. Yours look great. All of your cakes do ; )

Hi Wendy
I sometimes use the ready made fondant but when I can I use my own home made fondant, it tastes soooooooooooooo much better (like white fudge), my clients love it and it also holds the paint better then the bought fondant. , mainly because the bought fondant has a small amount of white fat in it.

Do mainly paint your fondant - rather than use coloured stuff?
