Another way to make them is to merely add tylose or CMC to your favorite fondant so that you don't have to add gumpaste at all. Good luck! Thanks for the compliment.

You use half and half, fondant and gumpaste (pastiage) and then roll then roll out the vines, let them dry a bit and then use a very small amount of tyloglue to attach them to the cake. The biggest mistake people tend to make is use too much tyloglue and then the flowers, vines, etc. slide around and take much too long to dry in place.

like the swirls. how did u make to stand like that.please advise
