Believe me Betty, if your cakes weren't special, they wouldn't keep coming!  And flavorful!!  I love it when you describe everything that you put in them! lol

Thanks Bonnie but I think sometimes my cakes look all alike. Depends on how rushed I am and how I feel, sometimes i just want to get it done and I'm not really creative at those times, then I resort back to old tried and true borders, trims etc. I deliver only my wedding cakes now, the rest they come to me for pick up.

I like that you keep varying the size, and the way you apply, the top borders on your cakes!  Keeps it interesting, as well as beautiful.  And no matter how many cakes you make, you never seem to do the same design twice.  Now that has got to be hard to do!  You must have quite the imagination Betty  I particularly like these big ones/shells!  Different, fluffy, and quite inviting!  Now where did you say you had delivered this one? I might just invite myself over! lol

That frosting looks sooo creamy & delicious.  Of course, the piping is always beautiful

I am pretty good at icing a "rustic" cake with a spatula because I have been doing it my whole life, but the one tip......I can USE the one tip and even make swirls and stars, but they sure do not look like yours!  My piped flowers do not look like yours either.  I can make the little fondant flowers - maybe there is some hope for me lol !

Thanks Sandra, You're sweet. This one was easy to do, 1 tip. Just swirl it around. The textured sides was using back of a spoon.

Me three, ladies!  I had to pull my tongue back from licking the computer monitor!  Betty, your piping is gorgeous, incredible.  I would dearly love to be able to do this.  The flowers and color are just perfect.
