Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

this is a 6-8-10 inch chocolate cake supported with a center rod. Bubbles were made using gelatin, figures were made out of modeling chocolate, other decorations made from fondant. took a long time to make but was worth every effort. this was my first attempt at topsy turvy crooked cake and was made for my friend's daughter. thanks for looking!

In my opinion this is the best of the lot...technically, with regard to both the finish and modelling of the figures,the colour and design balance and certainly the overall attention to detail and effect of the cake. Well done!

Beautiful job, Janice!  I believe "a long time" is an understatement, but the results are fabulous.  Love our modeling.
