Maria-

If you are getting lines showing horizonally on your sheets, check to make sure your "prevent paper abrasion" box is checked under your printer's printing preferences custom settings.

You know you're addicted to Icing Images' Icing Sheets when you try to think of ways to stick them on things not edible.

Here is a close up of the ribbon Chef Mike Terry made. Mike used Icing Images iiDesign program.  This program is part of our iiPrint program.  It is a collection of over 600 different patterns LICENSED for use for edible products. Many people have resorted to using scrapbook sheets that are purchased at craft shows.  Those are not licensed for reproduction and therefore if you plan to sell your sugar art, you are subject to legal issues.  We worked with a company to obtain a license on all of our patterns so that they are 100% LEGAL to print and sell on edible products.  Mike printed one of our Christmas designs on the seamless pattern setting.  This program printed out his desired width of ribbon with cut lines creating seamless edge to edge borders so everything matched perfectly taking all the guess work and frustration out of matching patterns seamlessly.  Chef Terry then cut ribbons of Icing Images' Colored Electronic Icing Sheets.  He used a shortening and placed the printed iiDesign Seamless Ribbon directly on the Colored Electronic Cutting sheets.  He used this same ribbon as a border around the cake and also created a magnificent ribbon.  Creativity made Easy with Icing Images products!

Here is a close up of the ornaments Chef Mike Terry used on the green Christmas Cake. In this picture Chef Mike Terry used Icing Images Electronic Cutter sheets. They are precolored for use in electronic cutters and punches. This saves time from rolling out gumpaste. Mike then added the glitter to the sheet by dampening the sheet with edible lacquer spray. He then added the glitter and sprayed one last time so that glitter didn't spread around to the other parts of the cake. The advantage to adding glitter yourself after you have cut the image is that you will not get your cutter glittery causing it to spread to unwanted cuts. Plus you can control the amount of glitter you add. Absolutely amazing Mike!

This is the final cake that Chef Mike Terry created.  We featured it previously, but we had questions regarding the ribbons and the ornaments so I wanted to be sure to show better explanations as to how he did it.  Mike uses the Silhouette from Linda McClure.  He prefers this over other models since he can use his computer to choose designs.  He loves to pair patterns from iiDesigns with his electronic cutters to make his themes flow through out the cake.
