The Massachusetts Chapter of ICES is pleased to invite everyone to come to our annual amazing summer blow out June Day of Sharing and weekend classes featuring SIX! great hands on class offerings from Kathleen Lange and Susan Carberry. These ladies will be joining us all the way from California to offer a wide assortment of classes for all skill levels.
Our June DOS will be our biggest of the year with demos, vendors, giveaways, our 3rd annual Live Timed Cake Challenge, a 50/50 raffle, and a special raffle for a brand new Agbay Cake Leveler worth over $250!  We welcome everyone and hope you can come.
Kathleen will also be teaching her amazing Lambeth Boothcamp classes 101 and 201 From June 27-30th. These classes have never been offered on the East Coast. Don't miss this great opportunity to not only learn this classic style but to also improve your piping skills and take you to new levels you would never have thought possible. Spaces are still available.  Kathleen's cakes are feature in the upcoming  ACD magazine and this months' ICES newsletter, don't miss her classes! More information and registration forms for the classes and DOS can be found on the www.MassICES.org website.

Who is going to the ICES convention? I'd love to meet you. I will be helping Julie Bashore at her booth.

Yeah! I live in charlotte, and this will be my first convention. I'll be there volunteering and shopping and taking classes. Which booth will you be at? I'll try to come by and introduce myself. Where will u be coming from? If u have any questions about the Charlotte area, please ask. Lived here since 1986.

Hi all, as many of you may have seen in the May newsletter I am running for ICES president this year. If you are going to the ICES convention I would really appreciate your vote. If you are not going to be at the convention, you can request an absentee ballot. The instructions are on pg. 17 in the May newsletter.

In the June newsletter the proposed bylaws will be introduced. This vote is very important. Your absentee ballot will let you vote for or against the new proposed bylaws.

Everyone's vote does really count. Make sure as an ICES member your voice is heard.

What is everyone wearing to the banquet? When I think of New Year's Eve attire, I think of a full length dress and/or sequins. No clue what I'm wearing.

People dress from very formal to jeans. I think sparkly when I think of New Year's eve. They are also going for your native dress if you are so inclined since the theme is international. Have I gotten my dress yet? nope!

I hope to fit into a previously worn bridesmaid dress that I wore on New Years last year for a wedding, very formal, dark purple, floor length, but does not look like a bridesmaid dress.

Can anyone help explain what we do with our banquet tickets in regards to giving our tickets as a group to someone only to collect them later to enter the dinner??  This will be my first convention.

Thanks!
