Hi All! I have a facebook page for my cake business, but I also get customers by word of mouth.

Okay so I just wanted to share...I usually use homemade MMF because its a little bit cheaper and it tastes so delicious, my customers don't even have to peel it off. But after doing 6 cakes and a set of cupcakes over the weekend, I was just too tired to go through the hassle of making fondant...sooo ended up buying a pack of wilton fondant to do a wedding cake for this morning. The verdict - it tastes yucky BUT it was sooooo EASY to work with! And the clean up after was so much easier... so I think I may become a Wilton convert and only do the MMF if a customer specifically requests it! Just wanted to share...have a sunshiney week!

Nancy: Kirk Home Centre actually carries a very great range of cake decorating supplies including wilton fondant :) - they carry both the precoloured and the white. They also carry gumpaste, gumtex, meringue powder etc. and are willing to special order as well. There is another gourmet specialty store called Bon Vivant (located in Governor's Square) that carries a limited amount of Ateco products, and are also willing to special order Wilton products for you as well.
