Well I was asked to create a cake last minute which was needed to rescue a situation.  I got a call from a customer around noon needing an iPAD cake by 7pm the following day.  Normally I would have said no but I accepted the challenge. The end result was better than I expected. It was very time consuming.  It took me over 5hrs to design it alone. 

I got a request from another customer who I have done work for on many occasions.  So I looked at the designs priced it and sent back the email stating the prices.  I got an email questioning if I was sure my price was right.  So I nicely informed the individual that I could not afford to operate at a lost and could not lower my price but hopefully I could be of assistance in the future.  Well the end result, "customer went with someone who was going to do it cheaper and in the end she was very disappointed. So I got a text expressing how sorry they were for not going with my price.  I honestly felt bad for the customer but happy that in the end a lesson was learnt and recognized by both the customer and myself.  I had no orders that day but I got to spend the day with my family which was priceless.
