I got to meet him and he told us that the bridezilla apoligized a few days later. apparently she thought it would be funny for TV. He forgave her but couldn't guarantee how the show would portray her. She got death threats after the show aired I guess.
He came to the Connecticut Cake Competition and that is how I got to meet him.

He also said that they film for 90 hours to get a 22 minute show! So he really doesn't yell that much they just only show those moments.

I'm sure some of what goes on is just for show. Regarding the Bridezilla episode, why would the camera man just stand there and let the woman ruin the cake? It's all for entertainment value.

of course it is. At first Buddy thought it was the show that planned it but they said no.
The camera people are just there they can't interfere or it wouldn't make good TV. Like when little Buddy went missing on a delivery. The camera men didn't say where he was and they new.

Oh boy! I'm a member today. I must admit that last night was the first show that I ever watched, I'm embarrassed for having to admit that but it is true. Well, last night's show was the show that made me want to become a member of this group. He loves his dad and mom so very much and made his dad's cake! He respects and knows the sacrifices that firemen (and I'm sure he knows about police and our armed forces as well) do to keep us safe. It just so happens that he did a cake for those wonderful firemen and I watched it! I loved the practical jokes and humor including the cakes that MOMMA doesn't like. Too funny!!!

All of his cakes have been great. I think the bridezilla episode was a woot.

I love the show and always look for new ideas. I figure if Buddy can do, so can I.

I see them steaming cakes all the time on CB - but I always thought water on fondant was a no-no since it then became too sticky. I know the steaming makes it shiny - but is it tacky then as well? Anybody know?
