Travel cakes!
Hi there Cakers!
I hope you are all busy caking and doing amazing work!!
ihave been working on a CRAZY wedding that is consisting of 11 cakes!
I mentioned this before but am now getting close!
I have a question for you all.
for the Reception the couple wants suit cases. I am thinking of 3 stacked...but then I realized that this has to feed 200!
I was planning on using 12 x 18 sheet cakes.
would you do these suitcases 1 or 2 layers? I am thinking of cutting a one layer and filling it...
What do you think?
The wedding is the day before and I am working on toppers for 9 8" rounds and a globe!
Each round will represent a different country they have traveled too!
Crazy fun!
I love this hobby! It is such a joy for me to try to make each cake so personal!!

Today is a new day!
I just had to come here and leave a post, I just completed the above project!
2 days 14 cakes.
What a project! Thanks to those of you who encouraged me!

I am sure that this project covered EVERY technique I have every learned in cake decorating!

I clicked on the attachment and saw the country cakes. Wow! You did an amazing job on those and what an amount of work that must have been. That was one crazy wedding order!
