my email when i first sign on says you've got mail and thats it.. but nothing to notify me i  have mail,, i just keep clicking on my mail, to see if anyone has replied to this post, then i try to find my way back to ya..hahahhaha but im getting it,, I think,,ha

Julie, Can you open two windows at a time on your computer? That way you can keep this one open if you like and navigate to other pages while you are waiting for an answer. I have four windows open right now, and they aren't even on the Cakes We Bake site. I have my mail open, so I can hear when a new post comes in, and I'm watching videos on you tube at the same time.

Oh, i just want everyone to know, that you have a person pretending to be a cake person on here, that is sending out friend requests to new members like me, and trecie, the name is pascalina abakarim,, they are sending out scam letter to us ,, the ol we have a million or two and need you to help us get it over here to the states sorta scam,,, it is annoying that these people honestly think that we are stupid enough to say "yes, let me give you my account number so that you can do what you want with it, because i know you will pay me millions in the end, because i just met you and i trust you fully with all my heart.. babawbabahhahaha

You know, I saw that on someone else' s profile. We probably need to notify Theresa Happe about this so that she can take care of it. I don't know if Theresa reads every single post, as she has a Facebook page to manage along with other sites. Julie, since this has happened to you personally, you may want to send Theresa a quick message. You can find her name right down at the bottom of this post so that you can get there quick. Just scroll down to the bottom of this page, and at the bottom is her name.

Hi Treciescakes & Julie,

welcome to this wonderful site that I found just a couple of months ago.
I've swapped checking Facebook for CWB, it's so much more fun talking cake & sugar.

Thanks guys, this is what I thought I would get when I first joined.  All is forgiven and will learn to get to know the site.  I have been a part of cake central for 3+ years and love it.  So I will be back and forth all of the time.  God bless. Julie

thanks for the welcome, and i will be glad to share what i do. i am hoping to get some pictures posted by next week, right now i'm working on a cake for my bf's work for next week that has become a huge challenge.  Mostly im looking forward to learning from all of you.

question for you guys, i saw a discussion and now cant remember where as to how to make sugar flames, there were several ideas including using the cookie stained glass method but now i cant remember where so would like to post a question about it but dont know where to do it? thanks
