Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I am trying to figure out how to use the Williams-Sonoma football trophy pan.

I am doing a sheet cake for a 10 yr olds football team.  End of the season party.

I am thinking of putting this trophy cake on top of the sheet cake but it is only one layer.

If I use rice krispie treats I am not sure how to put it together??

Any ideas out there in your creative minds would be so very helpful!!

Here it is! Thanks Karen for looking.
My husband said I need to do it with cake, but I am not sure how to stand it on a single layer sheet cake!

Without knowing how big it is....I would make it with a pound type cake to be sturdy and ice with a good crusting buttercream. then run a sharpened dowel through the top of the football all the way through the bottom layer of the bottom tier. I would also place a cake board the same size as the base of the trophy and insert supporting dowels to hold the cake up and prevent the bottom layer from being crushed. Then run the long dowel through the whole thing. Does that make sense?
