Fondant covered cake, cream cheese filling ... refrigerate?

Hi everybody!

I have to deliver a cake on Friday to be consumed by Saturday ... it is a fondant covered cake with cream cheese filling, should it be refrigerated?

I know that we don't refrigerate fondant cakes, but I'm concern about the filling ...

I appreciate your advice!

imo, for this relatively short period of time, as long as the cake is kept cool, then it should be OK unrefrigerated.  

Thanks Katy! I know that we should not put fondant cakes on the refrigerator my concern was the cream cheese...


Agreed Paula.  I think re the cream cheese, that as long as your filling is fairly firm to start with and, as I stay doesn't get too warm, I really can't see how it will go off in that short a space of time.
