Since I wanted to purchase dragees and they are hard to fine in my area I found out a second method. Now I have all of my supplies as of YESTERDAY, but I have not yet played with it. I can't remember Where I saw this suggestion, I'm sorry!
So I have NO IDEA if it will work or not.
Fondant rolled to the size that you want to have the ball.
In a baggy or small bowl, place Wilton Shimmer Dust (and there are several colors too, including Silver, Gold) and roll them in it.
Since you can eat fondant and not break a tooth, I thought this would be a heck of a lot better to use for kids and of course me too. LOL.
That's a great idea. You know, my kids eat them even though I tell them not to. I guess because they're pretty, they can't resist. Now if there were only a way to make broccoli shiny and gold...
