I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using a recipe for no-bake cheesecake as a filling for a layer cake? (I'm leaning toward the Philadelphia brand no-bake recipe that blends cream cheese with sugar and cool whip). Theoretically it sounds like it would work and I'm tempted to try it just to see - but was wondering if it's been done before and the results. :)
I know I could use just a cream cheese frosting (like you put on Carrot Cake), but I'm looking for more of a cheesecake flavor.
