Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This is a continuation from my first posting so if you came here first, please be certain to go to Cake Balls, posting 1 of 2.

I am giving credit to SeriousCakes which you can find her on YouTube for the Buttercream and Cake Balls recipe.  Please note that I did do a bit of a change in the process that made my needs a bit more friendly for me, that is the drying process of the cake balls.

Please note that the picture of the holes is a Close-Up picture and the holes appear a lot larger than they really are on the cake balls.  They are tiny.  Just a little hole from the toothpick.

Just in case you need to see the drying process again, I posted that picture twice (On Both Postings).

Enjoy!
Sincerely,
Sher

great job Sher!!!
Also great rolled in something while chocolate is still wet (chopped nuts, sprinkles, coconut, etc.)
Love making cake balls, would anyone want to share what they add to theirs. I made some this past weekend that I added carmel, coconut and pecans, have also made them with chopped marachino cherries, some of the cherry juice, coconut and mini chocolate chips. So if anyone has ideas to share would love to try them.
Mmmmmm, those sound so yummy! I made orange cake and added peach schnapps, fuzzy navel cake balls! :D

Uhm ... fuzzy navel cake balls? Care to elaborate? The mental picture I'm getting is ...(he! he!) ... well, let's just say I'd really like to know what this is!!
lol-I know it sounds funny but it's actually a drink, orange juice and peach schnapps, 'fuzzy' for the peach, 'navel' for the oranges :D When I make it as a cake I'll use orange extract instead of vanilla and sometimes add orange zest, then before frosting the cake I'll brush it with peach schnapps. For cake balls you can just add some peach schnapps to the mixture.

I've been waiting for your response, (smiling), I wanted this recipe too! Is this recipe on your YouTube? Or do you have it listed somewhere else? Perhaps here on this site under recipes? It sounds fabulous!!!! I know you love to use your Yellow Cake recipe (I got that off of YouTube) along with your chocolate cake.
Please tell me where this recipe is, thank you!!!
Smilin' Sher
It's really just a variation of the yellow cake recipe:
