I've made a solid chocolate 3D shoe. It was easy to stick
the 2 solid parts together to make this 3D shoe. But I've tried making the 3D shoe hollow but I am having a lot of trouble fitting the 2 hollow chocolate parts together. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm guessing it's one of two things: either the chocolate didn't come all the way up to the edge of the mold or you have a little excess chocolate on the edge. If it's excess, trim it carefully with a knife. If there's a little gap, you can fill it in with chocolate.
Hi Theresa,

I think you're right that I'm not getting the chocolate all the way up to the edge of the mold. I think it's one of those things that practice makes perfect, huh? :) Thanks for your suggestions!
Gayle you have to fill the mold all the way to the top or pour enough chocolate in the mold to let it flow to the edge and get thick enough...at least 1/4" Let the chocolate set then pour the excess out and hang the mold upside down to firm up over a sheet pan lined with parchment...support the mold on something so there is a space between the pan and the mold..once the chocolate firms up a bit then you can turn it back over....hope that helps.
Thanks Karen! That's it, I"m not leaving a think enough edge when trying to do my chocolate molds. 1/4" - I'll try that.
