Hi
Another person thats from Florida! How is the wilton course going so far? I have only completed the first one, haven't been able to get to course 2 yet-scheduling problems. I really liked the class. It was a lot of fun. I took it at our Michael's store, is that where you are taking yours?

Hi! I live in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and have been doing cakes for about a year now. I took the first few Wilton classes 7 years ago, but didn't dust off the equipment again until my son's first birthday. Now I have orders I can barely keep up with!! Loving it!

I'm also taking my classes at our local Ft. Myers Michaels store. Our instructor is great! We submit our 1st tier cake tomorrow and start the last course Fondant and Gumpaste in June. I love it and wish I had started a few years ago, but better late than never. This experience has brought out my creative side.

Hi everyone...I know this discussion was started a while ago, but I just stumbled on to this website and the various links and discussions. I'm in Palm Bay, Florida and have been baking and decorating for about a year and a half...Always looking for better ways and ideas. Having fun making gifts for friends but hope to someday earn some realy $$$ doing this so I can work part time in a few years. Thanks to everyone for their generousity in sharing!

I'm from Brampton, Ontario. I've been doing cake decorating for almost 2 years now, but that was mostly just for family and friends. I started taking orders about a year ago, and I really would like this to be my career, and not just a hobby! I've taken the Wilton Classes, and also taken introduction and intermediate classes at McCalls School of Cake Decorating (Toronto, ON). I'll be taking the wedding cake class in the fall, and I'll also be doing my first wedding show in October!

Hi everyone, I live in Italy but I was born in Canada. I always loved making cakes for me and my friends! In Italy we use sponge cake soaked with light liqueur or fruit juice filled with italian custard or chantilly and then covered with whipped cream or marzipan. I have made and decorated many cakes in my life and each one is different than the last !!!

Hi, I'm from Auckland, New Zealand. I'm a SAHM with 4 kids 13-3, I have been cake decorating for 4 years but often feel like an amateur as I'm self taught! I love looking at everyones cakes for ideas and inspirations, I love doing novelty cakes :)
