Hey! All!

 

I have been decorating for quite a while and have always used a shortening based BC.  Over the past six months or so, I have fallen in love with Mousseline BC.  My question is this:  do you think it will pipe grass and stay stiff?  I'll be using the grass tip. Or should I go with a tried and true method that I know works?  Any thoughts?

I use Mousseline Buttercream all of the time. Although I have never piped grass with it, I have piped flowers (mum type flowers for cupcakes) and hit holds up just fine. I think it will stay stiff for grass, esp. if you refrigerate it when finished. (But I don't think they will die when you take it out of the fridge to come to room temp...unless the room is really hot).
