Good luck, Mia! Your piping phobia must not be as serious as mine because I would rather color 50 batches of fondant than try to pipe RI ruffles!
hahahaha... I'm laughing loud here seriously! :D.. God bless Betty's piping skills
I'm making a rainbow cake tomorrow and seriously considering butter cream ruffles (rainbow-coloured) on the sides!!! Not sure how crazy that idea is especially with my piping phobia! :D.. but I think it'll be hectic making them in fondant and having to color 6 batches... Will post when done :)
LOL - Mia, this one was very easy for me - just covered the cake with fondant, then added strips of fondant, starting at the top and fluted them a little. With each row, I added a little more color to the fondant. Now....don't ask me to do what Betty does with Royal! And SHE thinks THAT is easy!
Sandra.. It doesn't look "easy" by all means! You keep repeating that and I take another look and say "impossible"!!!
I love this one, too, Bonnie, and it was so easy and fun to make.
I too, keep coming back to see this one. It is such a perfectly lovely cake.
Ha, ha, Gali! Sounds like me trying to paint with a pallet knife! I found this to be very easy and it is the only one I have ever done like it. I will do more, though, because I love the way it looks.
Thanks, Betty! It was a little cake for my best friend and her husband on their anniversary, believe it was their 47th. It maybe my favorite which I have done.
I don't know how I missed this one Sandra. It's beautiful, I love all of it...: )
I TRYED IT ONCE , , LOL WHAT A MESS I MADE LOL ,
Thank you, Melissa and Gali. Very easy and fun :o)
