Has anyone tried the Fondant by Duff?

Depending on which Duff fondant product you buy, you are getting Satin Ice or Fondarific, you are just paying more for his name
The DecoPacs are Satin Ice Brand
The 2lb. tubs are Fondarific.
Karen,
I did a Sweet 16 cake, which I iced in white buttercream and decorated it with black and red fondant (Satin Ice)
I noticed, though the black wasnt so bad, the red (Due to the Coloring) has an odor to it and me, not being a fan of fondant to begin with, found that it had an "off" taste as as well, sort of like the smell and taste of hose water. (so glad that the red parts were not parts that were cut into and served) Did the red coloring in the fondarific (Duff) compromise the taste of the fondant?

Yes, I love working with it. I just wish it was less expensive. I used the chocolate in my Cricut today and it worked like a dream! The red display cake I uploaded today is covered w/Duff red.

Does anyone have a good fondant recipes that are easy to work with that won't crack or tear when I work with it
Thanks Karen, I have to give it a try.

I didn't notice an off odor but is does have a strong buttery/sweet smell. It does taste better than Wilton though. A bride and groom I made a cake for with the Duff fondant loved the fondant and they normally don't like it.
