Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I made some MMF and it came out great so i went to use the rest of it for cut outs to add on to the cake and it just kept sticking I added the gel color to it so i dont know if it was the coloring the temp in the house was a good temp i just dont know what i did wrong and should i use MMF for cut outs or something else Please Help lol...

The coloring will do that. Did you try adding corn starch or powder sugar? Humidity can create havoc for sure. What recipe are you using? The recipe I use I add my coloring when the marshmallows are in the melted stage.
Okay i think it was the coloring too i added more powdered sugar and the temo was right but i honestly think it was the coloring because i used the marshmellow fondant(white) with no problem and the colored just kept sticking..Thanks for the ideam with adding when its melted im going to give that a try i love the MMF it taste great lol...Thank you..
Shay next time you need just a little bit colored, just add extra powdered sugar if it gets too sticky....if you color a whole batch you will be stuck with that color.....
