Topsy Turvy cake
I have a request for a topsy turvy cake but they only want one tier. I have looked all over online but it seems like the topsy turvy cakes are always made with at least two tiers. Does anyone know if it's possible to make one with a single tier or will it look dumb??

Unless it is multiple tiers it can't be a true topsy-turvy. But, I don't seen why you couldn't do a single tier with a slanted top. I think it would look fine.

I think it will look fabulous. I think you might have to have a standing topper. ie 2 hearts. to balance it out.
I actually had a lady on the phone yesterday who wanted a single tier wedding cake and I'm ging to pesuade her to have a topsy cake.....lol a strippy one or a spotty one.

Great Job! What cake recipe did you use; was it the "cake boss" recipe doubled that we have on the site or something else?
Also, what size pan(s) - in diameter please?

Oh this isn't the cake I did. Another person posted this picture to give me an example. I'm not doing my cake until September. I'm going to use an 8 inch pan for the cake.

I think one tier would only be Topsy or Turvy, but not Topsy Turvy!! I am being silly but I just don't think it would work with just one tier, Sorry,
