Wow thanks for the info. I haven't tried the marshmallow fluff with eggs whites. I noticed thay are uncooked egg whites - have you tried it yet and do you think the uncooked egg whites are a health issue.
Tracy- Unless you are using organic eggs there should not be an issue. The eggs you buy in the grocery store are pasteurized. I on the other hand use fresh eggs from my hens so I must make sure to pasteurize my egg whites myself when I make things like Swiss Meringue Buttercream or Royal Icing.

A Whoopie Pie is a type of cookie. Basically it is two cake like cookies with a marshmallow cream type icing sandwiched between them. Consider it a homemade version of the Moon Pie (without the chocolate coating). The Whoopie Pie is one of the "classics" that some bakers are trying to revive. Personally I am not fond of them. Too messy and too much sugar.
Oh thanks ... now I just have to figure out what a 'moon' pie is!
