graduation cake question
i would like to know if anyone can tell me how to make stars for on top of a graduation cake that i can wire so they stand up and print on them the year 2010 im making a 2 tier oblong cake with the top full of stars on wires.... i hope i explained my self correctly thanks

The best thing would probably be to use gum paste, cut the stars out, attach them to the wire and let dry. Once dry you can write on them pretty easily.

Making them about a week ahead is the best and allow them to dry on the wires. Be careful putting them all over you cake though... the wires tend to tear through the cake so put them on after you transport it.
