Hi...I have the Cricut cake and am very frustrated with the frosting sheets. I try freezing them and changing pressure and size.  all to have them crack and bunch up or not cut.  I have had better luck with gumpaste..freeezing it first and then cutting and freezing it again before I remove it from the sheet.  Does any one have better experience with the frosting sheets.  I spent hundreds of dollars and have multiple packages of of them but tired of wasting them.

What brand of sheets are you using Melanie?
I had a lot of trouble using the machine until I spoke with Linda McLure.  She has a website on line.  Check out creative designs for cake.  If you go on line to you tube and type in gum paste for cricut, she has a recipe for gumpaste that works like a charm.  You put it on a piece of bristol board instead of a plastic mat that they recommend and it works like a charm.  She tells you all about it in her you tube demo.  You also need to buy another blade that is used for heavy materials.  You can dial the correct thickness so that you aren't cutting the bristol board (80) guage paper.  Hope this helps.  It saved me a lot of frustration.  I was ready to use my cricut for a boat anchor.

I have used the frosting sheets and I have kept them dry and away from every thing else and have not had any problems and I have cut things out myself and they just peel off the back I have heard if you frees or refrigerate them they don't do very well with moisture
CRICUTS      NO PROBLEM WITH GUMPASTE THOUGH

Try the forsting sheets from icingimages and you will have much better luck.  They cut very clean with no tearing.  I trim the side edges back so I can tape the backing to the cricut mat and get perfect cuts every time.  All frosting sheets are not made the same.  I have tried several brands and have only had good luck with the premium sheets from icingimages..

HI Glenda, Did you know we have all of our 13 colors in stock now!  The black is beautiful!

Yes I do and will be ordering colors soon.

OMG...You will love them>  This is a cake done by Linda McClure with the Silhouette and our Dark Pink icing sheets.  See the fine detail...it is amazing...more to come!

We posted a picture of a cake on our Icing Images Forum here at Cakes we Bake that Mike Terry did with the Cricut.  It is truly stunning

PhotoFrost has some of the most amazing colors and they are coming out with more for the holidays, can't wait.  The sheets work great in the Cricut, the siloutte and the Klick n Kut .  The icing sheets are so much easier than gum paste and need no special handeling.
