Nurses cake
My Daughter is getting her RN Pin and I want to make a cake...I need some ideas..I was thinking on the line of a nurses hat or something like that....I only have two weeks..So Please help...I am new to decorating so nothing to hard please.....

My daughter graduated about 3 years ago with her Bachelor's in Nursing and is an RN in the NICU. She loves her job and I just sent her flowers for Nurses Week!
As for the cake... one I have wanted to make to take to her at work some day but she is 150 miles away so I have not gotten it done yet... but the cake I would love to do for her is scrubs with a stethascope. It would be cool to add a needle and bandaids etc. They really do not wear nurses hats anymore... scrubs, gloves and hair nets are the in thing. You could carve the scrubs out of a sheet cake pan maybe a 1/4 or 1/2 sheet depending on how big you need it. Would be really pretty simple to do.
Good luck and tell her great job... the nursing programs are not easy to complete.

I just did a google search and this is almost exactly what I had visioned! But I would add some tiny flowers on the scrubs because our daughter loves the flowered ones... but when she was graduating their scrubs at UofP were purple so maybe the color of scrubs that her school had her wear during clinicals.
