Check out the tutorials on youtube by Linda McClure, they work for the cricut too.
I'm considering purchasing one of these...wonder if it's worth it?
I prefer the silhouette as you don't have to purchase the expensive cartridges.  I use Make The Cut software and can cut any image I want.  Frosting sheets are much easier to cut then fondant or gumpaste.  I used the cricut on the graduation cake and bumble cake on my web site www.itsnotjustcake.com

I  just received mine and I love it. I can't seem to get it to work with the homemade marshmellow fondant which disappoints me but I will continue trying.  The gumpaste so far seems to work the best.

I am not sure what "Make the Cut software" is - can you please explain further.

Jen - If you like cake decorating I think you would love the machine.  The cheapest price I found was a Wal-mart.

Glenda - just went to your website - your cakes are awesome!!

Thanks Debbie!  Do you have a cricut or silhouette?  Make the cut will not work with the cricut.  It's a software program that allows you to import and manipulate images and cut whatever you like.
