Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Some of you will remember that a while ago I asked for tips on making sugarpaste lily of the valley flowers for my sister-in-law's 60th birthday cake.  Well, I was quite pleased with the result (for a first attempt) and learnt a lot during the process.  So next time should be better.  Thought you might like to see the finished result.  It's her day tomorrow and sadly she has had to cancel a planned outdoor party due to the terrible weather conditions predicted.  I hope the cake will cheer her up a bit.

great job Katy!!!!!!!!!
They are so cute, Katy - but it's hard to see them in your profile picture. Could you add it to your photo album as well? Thanks!
Eileen, she put a link at the bottom of the post.
Not sure how to do that, but I've given it a go - see if you can find it lol!

It came out beautiful! That is one flower I would definitely love to learn. It is the first flower I remember seeing when I was a little girl living at home with my parents. My mom had a set of dishes with that design right in the center of it. Awhile back at a tag sale, I saw a plate with the rich and bright colors of the Lily of the Valley flower and had to grab it for memory sake.
Doh! Sorry about that - didn't see it. Now I've taken a look. They are darling!!
