Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I'm looking for a moist lemon pound cake with a glaze, or even a good moist lemon cake with lots of flavor. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I do!!!  It is with a single cake mix, sorry.  It has been in our family for years and years!  I make it on a regular basis.  I make cupcakes, cakes and we even eat it without any type of glaze or icing.

I hope you have good results with this.  It is very moist as well.  Enjoy.

Lemon Jello Cake

1 Yellow or LEMON Cake Mix

2/3 Cup Oil

3 ounces Lemon Jello

1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

4 Eggs

¾ Cup Water (I place more lemon juice within the water, optional)

Mix altogether, bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Glaze:

1-1/2 Cups powder Sugar (sifted)

Fresh Lemon Juice with pulp to thin out the sugar

Top while warm and let cool completely

GREAT CAKE BALLS WITHOUT THE FROSTING!

For lemon cake this is what I use:

1 DH lemon cake mix

1 pkg of lemon pudding

water on box

oil on box

egg on box plus 1 extra

I make this in cake pans usually and bake at 325.  You may want to adjust temp & time if using a bundt pan.

Sorry, I don't have a lemon glaze recipe.  I have only made in cake form.

I have a fantastic Lemon cake posted on here... not a pound cake but is very moist and soooo yummy.  For a glaze I'd just use powdered sugar, and milk to thin it with lemon extract to flavor it.  MMMMMM I love lemon.  The recipe is on my blog.
