I would like to know what dvd's you recommend? I just purchased Cakeonolgy from Mike's Amazing Cakes, and was wondering what your favorite instructional dvd is?
Thanks and have a great week!

Any from Sharon Zambito - http://www.sugaredproductions.com
I've been told Edna has some great ones but I don't own any of her's YET.
I have DVD's from Sharon, Edna, Jennifer Dontz and Nicholas Lodge, and would highly recommend all of them, each depending on what you are looking for. I have learned so much from each one of them. I have a couple from Petal Crafts on making little animals.... All of these are fantastic. Global Sugar Arts has a great selection...

Most DVD's teach just a few concepts so it depends on what you are looking for.
Hi there,
I am looking to purchase some DVDs and came across this post! I already make cakes, but I feel like my fondant could improve - especially when there are tears, and fondant dries, etc...for those who have these DVDs already would you recommend these ones?

And for stacking:

I have Flawless Fondant. Successful Stacking is on my wish list. In my opinion, if you need base knowledge of fondant then you should get the Flawless Fondant.
I have Edna's on how to make roses and she is so thorough. Love all of Edna's work.http://www.designmeacake.com/ Also, one from Sharon Zmbito on Boxes and Bows http://www.sugaredproductions.com/product/Boxes-and-Bows-DVD/. Very very good. And another one that is by Linda McClure Creative Designs Damask Wedding Cakes, and she is extremely thorough, plus it has one DVD that is the patterns that you can print out-I think. I haven't completely watched it all because it has sooooo much information on it. It has 3 DVDs in it.
If anyone knows of a really good DVD on some of the Lambeth Method Techniques, I sure would be interested in purchasing one.
Wonderful ladies, thank you for your feedback! I think I will purchase the Flawless Fondant...any websites that sell it pretty inexpensive?
I'm pretty sure all the websites sell it for the same price. I suggest you purchase direct from Sharon on her website. Excellent customer service. Be sure to get on her mailing list. She does specials a couple of times a year.

Has anyone purchased any DVDs (actually it the online version, where you download the info) from Yummy Stores.com? I'm just starting out and wanted to get some feedback if anyone has these DVDs and if they liked them. Also, they are have a bundle sale, there are 3 packages and I'm trying to decide if I should spend the money (each bundle is about $100).

Thanks.
I have purchased many from yummyarts.com, to include basic decorating skills, speciality cakes and gum paste flowers.
