I found one tutorial but not like the real flower.

Yes Sandra,This is how I did those and I couldn't find the tutorial for that too.

I used the tip that we used for  roses and first piped a little round flat center. Then piped some green stamens with tip 3. After that I used tip 125 and made petals around the green stamens and didn't open the petals like roses. Turned the end of the tip towards the center of the flower and the petals were like closed petals. When we make the roses we turn the end of the tip to out side and we'll get it like open petals.

I think this will help and you can practice it .

Inoka, can you give us pointers on how to make the ranunculus?  This is a new piped flower for us and we have been unable to find anything on the internet that tells how it is done.  Again, this is an amazing cake!  July LOVE it!

Yes Sandra,I made this cake last week . Thanks Bonnie and thanks Betty. This is the color of her birthday dress and I matched it with the hat.

Shirley, I am so sorry to hear about your son and to loose him so young.  Such a tragedy.

Thirteen birthday in one month!  I bet they keep you hopping :o)

Katy we have thirteen April birthdays in my family. My son Scott who passed away 2 months ago would have been 54 on April 2nd. I was so afraid he was going to be an April Fools baby but he waited until the next day.

Thank you, Inoka.  I thought your description for making the ranunculus was probably the way it was supposed to be done.  As you say...practice!  I need lots of practice!
