I am making a Mickey Mouse Pumpkin cake for a 1 year old birthday. Also making a 'smash' cake for the birthday girl. I want to frost the 'smash' cake in white buttercream and cover with very small Mickey Mouse ears. I know I can get candies (don't want baby to choke) and I know I can do them in 3 pieces (afraid it will look lame), but does anyone know where to get a cutter at the most 1/2" wide for MM ears? OR better yet - are there any cutters out there that I can use part of? For example, I use part of the small flower for monkey faces. Any ideas????

Kim, if you want something as small as 1/2", you could try using the bottom end of a piping nozzle - that's what I use when I want small circles. If you look at my Louboutin shoe, you will see there is a small ring on the front holding the two long straps together. I made this with the end of a standard nozzle and then cut the middle out with the piping end of a nozzle like the round one at the back of this picture.
Or you can get small cookie cutters already shaped, like this -
