My pink lemonade cake is also dense Jackie as it has sour cream. Without the sour cream, it is a much lighter cake. :o)

Ok, now I feel better. I've never made a cake that ended up so dense. It's all gone now. And the birthday girl woke up to birthday cake pancakes today. So yummy!

Everyone has there own preferences in cake. I like both a light cake with a soft crumb, to a very dense pound cake, like my pink lemonade cake, to angel food cake. There all good. :o)
