Fondant Minnie Mouse tutorial or instructions - PLEASE?

Can anyone please, please point me to some instructions or a tutorial for making a fondant Minnie Mouse cake topper?  I had planned on doing the ears and bow Minnie cake, but the grandmother tells me the cake needs an actual Minnie Mouse on it since the child is so young she won't know it's a Minnie Mouse cake without Minnie Mouse on it.  We may have to resort to using a  toy for a topper?

lol Sandy - I rarely use chat, so I'm not sure, but I don't think you can actually 'get out' of it.  Just minimise it from the top right hand corner of chat box.

If you want to access most members with a question, I would suggest in future that you try adding a discussion (click on Add and it will open a new page for you to put your discussion on).  As Moderators, there is usually one of us monitoring the site and most discussions get seen by one of us pretty quickly.  If we don't know the answer, we will try to find out for you, or I sometimes send the question to a member that I know has experience in a particular field and ask them if they can help.

Thanks Katy I will try doing that and hope it works!  I am making a mickey mouse cake for my 23 month old grandsons bday and he really likes minnie so I want to make it using modeling chocolate.  Also can you tell me how I get out of the chat room on the site?  I posted a question but you have answered it for me so  want to no longer be on chat but can't find place to close chat.  Thanks for your help. Sandy

Hi Sandy.  I had a lot of difficulties with Lovely Tutorials at first as well.  I think it works best if you register with them, it seems to work a lot better then

Try going to www.lovelytutorials.com and then register.  I'm assuming that whatever web browser you use will automatically translate it for you.  (I use Chrome and it does).

Also a written tutorial from Goreti's favourite place - Lovely Tutorials.  It is a Russian website (!) and you have to wait for your computer to translate it lol, but it has some amazing stuff on and is well worth the effort.  This link will take you to the page on Minne and you will need to scroll down something just over half way to get to her.  There's a couple of different ones.  Good luck!

Hi again Sandy.  Just found this on youtube - it's not ideal as there's no soundtrack, but it does give you a good idea of what she does.

This one is in Spanish, but the same thing goes - it gives you a good idea of what she does -
