bake a cake in a glass bowl
Does anyone know how to bake a cake in a glass bowl?? I REALLY need to find out how- i have a turtle shaped cake that i need to make for my sons birthday this weekend and i cant really find any good instruction on the web- Thanks!

I did it a few hrs ago I just did it like I would any other cake and just watched it to make sure it cooked and didn't burn. Turned out great I grease and flour as you would a pan

Make sure it's a glass that can be in the oven.

I've used pyrex bowls to make a cake and even an oval one. Like Michelle said make sure to grease & flour and I baked it at 25 degrees less than what I usually do

Ditto to all the above. As was stated, drop your temp by 25 degrees & grease & flour your dish well. I have baked in a coffee can & a clay flower pot. No problem. :o)
