Hope you enjoy the site. I don't have my recipe in front of me, but I got mine from the Internet.
Google Mom Mom's red velvet cake. It will come up on chow hound. com.
I don't use the accompanying cream cheese icing. Too sweet for me. I also use beet juice from canned beets to 
make my cake red. I have made & froze this, and it thaws out beautifully.
