Tylose/cmc is a gum and it makes the fondant stretchier and hold together better when rolled thin. You can start out with 1 teaspoon of cmc per pound of fondant and determine whether that lets you roll it as thin as you want. If not, you can add more cmc.

how much of the tylose would you use and what the tylose do to the fondant?
